Mountain Road incident

by isleofman.com 14th December 2007
Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of bad driving on the Mountain Road.

It happened around 9.30am on Monday when a white Fiat Ducato van was seen to overtake a line of traffic travelling in the Ramsey bound carriageway along the Mountain Mile in what's been described as 'an erratic and dangerous manner'.

The manoeuvre caused an oncoming car, thought to be a light green Fiesta, to brake hard almost to a stop.

Police say they would like to speak to the driver of the Fiesta or anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

If you can help you should ring PC Corlett at Ramsey police on 812 234.
