Same approach for Plater

The T.T.'s fastest newcomer will adopt the same approach ahead of his second year of competition around the Mountain Course.

Steve Plater clocked an average speed of 125.808 mph on the final lap of the Centenary Senior T.T. in a highly impressive debut.

He has re-signed for the AIM Yamaha team for the 2008 season.

Plater prepared for his first experience of racing around the Mountain Course by completing numerous laps on frequent visits to the Isle of Man.

He says just a few months away has undone much of that knowledge:-
