Party for Children to raise Games funds

by isleofman.com 13th December 2007

The Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association is launching a on-going campaign to raise funds for Manx teams to compete at future Commonwealth Games.

This Saturday, a Magical Christmas Party for children will take place at the Hilton Hotel. Tickets are £5 per child and £8 for adults.

There are two sessions - noon until 1.30pm and 2.30pm to four o'clock.

Promised entertainment includes clowns, magic, a caricaturist, face painting, games, balloons, goodie bags, food and drinks.

With the Isle of Man competing at the Commonwealth Games every four years, and now at the Commonwealth Youth Games in between, the demand for funds appears to be greater than ever.
