Emergency money for Bangladesh

The Chief Minister has agreed to release an extra ?80,000 of emergency money to help the aid operation in Bangladesh after last month's cyclone there.

Tony Brown says he offered the extra funds after discussions with the Overseas Aid Committee's chairman, George Waft MLC.

Cyclone Sidr smashed into the small Indian Subcontinent country's south coast, leaving thousands dead and over a million people homeless.

Mr Brown says, depending on how the aid operation progresses out there, this won't necessarily be the last money sent from here either (audio file attached):
