Minister defends police report

The Home Affairs Minister is defending the final report from the outgoing Chief Constable Mike Culverhouse.

Martyn Quayle was in charge of presenting the document to Tynwald this week.

While there was little criticism overall, some members felt it was lacking in substance.

In particular former police officer Dudley Butt MLC claimed the report was short on accurate statistics, describing it as a 'dog's dinner.'

But Mr Quayle (pictured) says the facts are in the report, although he thinks there may be changes to the way they are presented next time:
