Mid-Antrim 150 meeting called off

by isleofman.com 12th December 2007
A dispute over health and safety issues between the organisers and the sport's governing body has led to the 2008 Mid-Antrim 150 road races being cancelled.

The Mid-Antrim Club and the Motorcycle Union of Ireland were unable to reach agreement over a number of changes being demanded to the Clough circuit at Ballymena.

The Irish road race calendar shows meetings for 2008 planned for Cookstown, Tandragee, North West 200, Bush, Athea, Skerries, Walderstown, Kells, Faugheen, Dundrod, Ulster Grand Prix, Dundalk, Killalane and Boyne.
