CRHS - the way forward

The Chairman of Governors at Castle Rushen High School says she's looking forward to a new era of consultation between senior leaders, staff and governors.

Barbara Brereton says the governing body will do its utmost to drive forward the Action Plan recommended in the Special Inspection.

The report - published on Friday - says school leaders have shown serious weaknesses in their dealings with staff and governors - whose views have too often been overlooked.

But it praises the high level of commitment among teachers, and the school's continued academic success.

Mrs Brereton says an Action Plan agreed by all will be the remedy:
