Biblical stories in Manx

by isleofman.com 7th December 2007
It's being described as a 'world first for the Manx Language.'

AFD Software is celebrating ten years of business in the Isle of Man by producing its highly successful 'Friends and Heroes' animated children's television series in Manx.

The series is set in the first century AD, and makes reference to stories from the Old and New Testaments.

Executive Producer David Dorricott says it's an ideal way to mark the occasion by giving something back to the nation and culture of the Island (audio file attached):

David Dorricott was speaking to John Hines on Mandate.
