Police appeal after playground incident

Police are appealing to witnesses to an assault in a school playground.

The incident happened between 7pm and 7.15pm on Wednesday in the top playground at Onchan Primary school.

A 13 year-old Onchan boy was assaulted by a young man thought to be around 16 years old who was with another boy of the same age.

The youths were travelling in a red saloon car.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Constable Nigel Colquitt of Onchan police on 675190
