Final Tynwald sitting of 2007

by isleofman.com 7th December 2007
Numerous topics will be tackled during Tynwald question time next week.

There are 17 for oral answer - nearly half of those come from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.

Mr Karran has queries ranging from dental health and IT systems to tourism budgets and blood pressure pills for men over 50.

He will also question the Chief Minister on giving Manx people the right to roam the countryside and coastline and will once again bring the MEA's finances back into the spotlight.

South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey will raise issues that were popular during last year's election campaign - namely the Control of Employment and Residence Acts.

And one of East Douglas member Brenda Cannell's questions focuses on whether there will be any ministerial changes now or in the future.

Tynwald questions will get underway at 10.30 on Tuesday morning, and will be broadcast on Manx Radio AM 1368.
