Awards for youngsters in care

Care providers St Christopher's Isle of Man are holding an awards presentation in Douglas this evening to recognise the progress being made by many of the young people they look after.

The parent charity in the United Kingdom holds an annual event in London, but it was decided a special event for local people would be a better idea here.

The young people themselves have been heavily involved in putting the evening together, to help ensure it's an event everyone can get something out of.

One of those young people is Peter (audio file attached):
