Disability Awareness Training

Representatives from businesses and government departments are going to receive Disability Awareness training.

The initiative is the brainchild of The Disability Access Office who say their main aim is to get people to see someone as a person first, and disabled second.

The half-day training packages can be tailor made to cover specific areas of interest to a business.

Disability Awareness Trainer, Kathryn Williams says she hopes the scheme will be of benefit to working disabled people in the future:
