TV campaign for Crimestoppers

by isleofman.com 3rd December 2007
Crimestoppers Awareness Week is under way.

The work of the charity will be highlighted by fundraising events at the Isle of Man Bank, as well as television commercials to be screened on ITV Border in the next three weeks.

Last summer Crimestoppers experienced an 80 per cent increase in calls to its 0800 555 111 free phone number in the Island, following a TV campaign.

Chairman of Crimestoppers on the Island Phil O'Shea (pictured) says a lot of people still don't understand that the organisation is an independent charity (audio file attached):

Phil O'Shea was speaking to Stuart Peters on Mandate.
