Bus bullies 'should be banned'

A public transport user has told Manx Radio how she felt threatened, intimidated and embarrassed while travelling on a school bus in Ramsey.

The person, who wishes to remain anonymous, says she was bullied by pupils from the local Grammar School, who made unpleasant remarks of a personal nature.

Headteacher David Trace (pictured), who has spoken to the woman involved, says controlling behaviour on buses is not easy, particularly when schools aren't responsible for what happens in such circumstances.

However, he feels strongly about the issue and says he would like to see offending children banned from the buses:
