People suffering from a bout of sickness and diarrhoea should stay away from Noble's Hospital.
Health officials suspect the present outbreak is probably caused by winter vomiting virus - once it enters a hospital or nursing home it can spread very quickly and it's difficult to eradicate.
Last year three wards were closed to new admissions.
