Virus warning

Sufferers of an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting in the Island are being advised to steer clear of the hospital.

Health officials think it's most probably Winter Vomiting Virus and are keen to prevent it spreading within Noble's.

The advice is to contact your GP over the telephone and use hygiene precautions at home.

Director of Public Health, Dr Parameshwaren Kishore, says people are still infectious up to 48 hours after they've recovered (audio ifle attached):
