Children in Uganda need help

by isleofman.com 29th November 2007
A new Manx charity is hoping the goodwill of Isle of Man residents this Christmas will extend to children in war-torn Uganda.

Childcare Kitgum Servants helps to educate and nurture around 8,000 young people in the African region.

Pat Wiles (pictured) from the Broadway Baptist Church has set up a council of management in the Island in a bid to raise funds here.

She says children in Uganda are in dire need of help:

If you can help, contact Pat Wiles by visiting patwiles@manx.net or ring 627543.
