Immigration committee to sit again

by isleofman.com 28th November 2007
The Committee investigating the Island's immigration system will sit again next week.

Director of External Relations Della Fletcher and Head of Crown and External Relations with the government, Karen Scott, will give evidence on Monday morning at a public hearing.

It will be held at the Millennium Room in the new Legislative Buildings in Douglas.

The select committee was formed following a call from Rushen MHK Quintin Gill (pictured).

The issue was raised a number of times during last year's general election and Mr Gill felt the matter required detailed examination.
