Emergency exercise this weekend

by isleofman.com 28th November 2007
An emergency exercise will be staged at Ronaldsway Airport on Saturday.

Exercise ‘Garrison’ will test the Major Incident Plan, which would come into operation if an aircraft accident occurred at the airport, or the surrounding area.

The emergency services, civil defence and health services personnel will all participate, testing their own emergency procedures.

The airport will remain open during the exercise and members of the public may see emergency service vehicles in the area.
