Director upbeat on tourism

There is a feeling of optimism about the Isle of Man's tourism industry, according to the Director of Tourism.

Geoff Le Page has been speaking after the second annual tourism awards, answering critics who may claim there is not much of an industry left in the Isle of Man.

Mr Le Page (pictured) says the Island has enjoyed one of its best seasons for some time, and is hopeful that trend that will continue in the future:
