Phone masts again under scrutiny

by isleofman.com 27th November 2007
Startling claims about the alleged dangers of mobile phone transmitter masts have been made by the founder of the pressure group 'Northern Ireland Opposed to Masts'.

Walter Graham says cancer clusters have been found around five masts in Northern Ireland.

Speaking on Manx Radio during a recent visit to the Island, Mr Graham also insisted that it's not possible to state categorically that there aren't any health dangers :

A Tynwald committee chaired by our own Director of Health, Dr Parameshwaran Kishore, is currently investigating where any risks can be attributed to mobile phone masts.
