Joint approach to local policing

The Chairman of the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team remains convinced the community approach is the way forward for the Isle of Man.

And Inspector Sid Cain says a recent meeting with politicians from the area has also shown their commitment to what everyone's jointly trying to achieve.

It's been reported there were some political concerns that certain elements of the team could become more centralised

But Inspector Cain (pictured) has played down the matter and says he welcomes input from the other partners within the team:
