Cannan IRIS call to be considered

by isleofman.com 24th November 2007
Michael MHK David Cannan has been told his call for a full investigation into everything to do with the construction and operation of IRIS and Meary Veg will be considered.

Confirmation this will take place at the next meeting of the Public Accounts Committee was revealed by its Chairman in a written reply to Mr Cannan's Tynwald question this week.

Initially the Member for Michael approached the PAC about the matter towards the end of last month, but was told the agenda for its November meeting was already full.

But the reply informed Mr Cannan the December meeting's agenda includes the consideration of its priorities for future investigations and that the issues he referred to in his letter would be included in that.
