The father of an Island man left fighting for his life after an attack in Preston has thanked the Manx public for its ongoing support.
26 year-old Alex Messenger was assaulted in the early hours of September the 29th.
He was in a critical but stable condition for several weeks at the Royal Preston Hospital (pictured) before being transferred to Chorley Hospital earlier this month to begin a programme of rehabilitation.
Police inquiries are continuing and three men remain on bail in connection with the incident.
