Annie definitely on

by isleofman.com 21st November 2007
The Douglas Choral Union says its production of the musical 'Annie' at the Gaiety Theatre will definitely be going ahead on the scheduled dates, for eight days from February 2 next year.

It follows the news the government is considering hiring out the venue to the makers of a major film, for a substantial sum of money, from the middle of the same month.

Discussions are continuing with other groups which had booked the venue during the period.

Options include alternative dates and moving productions to the Villa Marina.
