Fluoridation debate - against

Further debate about whether or not to fluoridate the Island's water supply took place at a public meeting in Douglas last night.

It was organised by the Isle of Man Campaign for Non-Fluoridation of Tap Water, but featured representatives from both sides of the argument.

Those against the move were represented by the Executive Director of the Fluoride Action Network, Dr Paul Connett.

He views fluoridation as a reckless public health policy that is unsafe and unnecessary:
