Police seek witnesses to pub fight

by isleofman.com 19th November 2007
Police in Douglas are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance in JAKS public house on Loch Promenade.

It happened around 6.15pm on Thursday and involved between four and six men who were fighting each other by fruit machines close to the side entrance of the premises.

Two men aged 18 and 19 were arrested, but have since been released on bail.

Police say the pub was fairly busy at the time of the incident and officers believe several people would have seen what happened.

Anyone who can help is asked to ring police headquarters on 631212, or use Crimestoppers anonymously by dialing 0800 555 111.
