Wildflowers face extinction

The head of the Wildflowers of Mann Project says we are seeing a 'pulse of extinction' for many wildflowers in the Isle of Man.

Project Officer Andree Dubbledam says some very specific species can be protected, but for many a continuing decline is almost inevitable.

He says it's the predictable result of dwindling habitat and changes to the natural environment (audio file attached):
