Witnesses sought to '33rd' crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident on the Mountain Road.

It happened just before 4:30 on Friday afternoon (16th) at the 33rd milestone and involved two vehicles.

One of them, a green Landrover Defender which was travelling towards Ramsey, left the road on the first right-hand bend and the driver received serious though not life threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have seen the incident or seen the Land Rover prior to the crash is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit at police headquarters on 631 212.
