Marshals' chairman on TT changes

The new Chairman of the TT Marshals' Association says in one respect he doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor.

Speaking after the TT media conference, Bill Carden said he had no desire to replace Roger Hirst as Chief Marshal for next year's event.

Ultimately the decision will come down to the Auto Cycle Union Events Limited, which has taken over responsibility for organising practice sessions, races, marshals and medical cover from the Manx Motorcyle Club.

But Mr Carden says whatever is decided, the role isn't for him (audio file attached):
