by isleofman.com 16th November 2007
A family from Douglas is hoping to raise enough money to send their severely ill son to America for potentially life-prolonging treatment.

Aziz Sharpe is just over a year old, but has a brain condition which means he behaves like a newborn baby.

His mother, Medina, says treatment in the United States could offer hope (audio file attached): .

A fund-raising event is being held at All Saints' Church Hall in Douglas, from 1.30pm on Saturday.

The family lost another son to the disease, at the age of four.
