Bid to send boy to U.S. for treatment

by isleofman.com 16th November 2007
A family from Douglas is hoping to raise enough money to send their severely ill little boy to America for potentially life-prolonging treatment.

Aziz Sharpe is just over a year old and has a brain condition which means he behaves like a newborn.

He had an older brother with the same disease who died at the age of four.

His mother Medina says treatment in the United States could offer them a lifeline

A fund-raising event is being held at All Saint’s Church Hall in Douglas on Saturday afternoon from 1.30.
