ITV chief replies to council leader

It looks like future ITV regional news coverage of the Isle of Man is still open to debate.

Douglas Council Leader David Christian has had a reply from ITV chief Michael Grade after he wote to him raising concerns over suggestions Border News could be dropped.

The Council is unhappy at proposals to include the Island in the Tyne Tees news region and Tynwald has passed a resolution along similar lines.

David Christian says Mr Grade's response is very encouraging:
