by isleofman.com 14th November 2007
The headteacher at Ballacloan Infants' is seeking memorabilia, ahead of her schools' centenary in 2008.

Jill Gill is looking for photographs, personal memories and artefacts which people may have kept for sentimental reasons.

Contributions will be included in a commemorative exhibition, early next year.

Mrs Gill (pictured) thinks the celebrations will capture the imagination of her pupils (audio file attached):

Ballacloan Infants' School is in Demesne Road, Douglas. There are currently 118 children on the register, ranging in age from four to seven.
