Drug and alcohol roadshows

by isleofman.com 15th November 2007
The public is being given the opportunity to get to grips with the Island's Drug and Alcohol Strategy.

Co-ordinator Margaret O'Reilly will be joined by representatives covering criminal justice, education and treatment at the first roadshows in Castletown and Ramsey later this month.

It's hoped the meetings will promote better understanding of drug and alcohol issues, outline the various initiatives in action, give people the chance to ask questions and air their views.

The first will be held at Castletown Civic Hall on Wednesday November the 21st and the second is at Ramsey Town Hall on Tuesday November the 27th.

More roadshows are planned for 2008.
