Laxey dog bye-laws

by isleofman.com 14th November 2007
Laxey has become the latest Island town to get its own set of bye-laws telling owners where they can and can’t take their dogs.

The Laxey Dog Control bye-laws shut the beach between the harbour and the steps at the bottom of Old Laxey Hill as well as areas such as Promenade Green and the Rose Gardens.

Dogs are allowed in Valley Gardens, Quarry Road campsite and Glen Mooar as long as they’re kept on leads.

The new rules are due to be discussed by Tynwald when it sits next week.
