Civil Service retirement under scrutiny

Two MHK's have questions about changes to civil service pensions in the House of Keys today.

Onchan's Peter Karran wants to know about allowing Civil Servants to delay retirement to 65 instead of 60, the procedure for this process, whether the extension be stopped and who agreed to the new policy.

Rushen's Juan Watterson will ask the proportion of senior civil servants who have said they'll now work to 65, and what consultation there's been outside the civil service.
