Mental health unit planned

by isleofman.com 13th November 2007
The DHSS is planning to improve its provision for people with mental health problems.

It has submitted an application to develop a 16 bed 'continuing treatment facility' for people with long-term illnesses.

The proposed location is on the former Ballamona Hospital site, on land between Grianagh Court and Reayrt Noa.

The new centre will replace existing premises which no longer meet required operational standards.
