Island's image is improving - Bell

Work to improve the Isle of Man's image abroad is slowly starting to pay dividends, according to Treasury Minister Allan Bell.

He says it’s been difficult to convince some countries that the Island's regulatory system is up to scratch and that it's open and transparent.

But Mr Bell (pictured) says a recent visit to Norway to sign tax agreements has earned it praise from an unlikely source.

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, one of the Island’s harshest critics in recent times, has welcomed the agreements and complimented the Island, as Mr Bell explains:
