Patients move into the new hospice

The countdown is over in Braddan today, as in-patients are transferred from the 'old' hospice - St Bridget's on Kensington Road, to the new facility in the grounds of the new Noble's Hospital.

It's the culmination of a massive project that has taken many years, hundreds of people and millions of pounds to achieve.

Chief Executive Margaret Simpson (pictured) says the transfer is just a matter of taking plenty of time, and making people welcome at the new site:
