Hemmings in football rich list

Isle of Man multi-millionaire Trevor Hemmings is listed in British football's top 10 rich list, announced today.

Mr Hemmings, who has a majority shareholding in Preston North End, is ninth in the poll, produced by FourFourTwo magazine, with an estimated fortune of ?980 million.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich retains his place at the top with ?10.8 billion.

Mr Hemmings owns the Grand Island Hotel in Ramsey and has a home in Andreas.
