ABH sentence adjourned

Sentence on a 25 year old who attacked a man outside a Douglas nightspot has been adjourned by the High Bailiff for reports.

James Steven Cosgrove of Watterson Lane in the town admitted assault causing actual bodily harm and being drunk and disorderly.

The prosecution said the defendent was arrested in the early hours of July 28th outside the Outback.

He had hit Edward Alderson who fell to the ground, then he kicked him causing facial injuries and a broken tooth.

In September Cosgrove was arrested outside Colours nightclub just before two in the morning after he was refused entry by security staff.

Police were called after he became abusive and wouldn't leave the area.

He was bailed until November the 20th and told not to enter on-licensed premises.
