Help for obese families

Obesity is on the increase, both in adults and children, but there IS help at hand, according to the Isle of Man Public Health Directorate.

A seminar at Keyll Daree yesterday (Mon) featured presentations by a number of healthcare experts, and included the results of a pilot programme for children here in the Isle of Man.

Lesley Dorward, Director of Health Promotion says the Isle of Man approach complies with the N.I.C.E. recommendations, and that another course to help tackle childhood obesity will be starting soon:
