Be Safe Be Seen

'Be Safe Be Seen' is the basic message of the Department of Transport's new road safety campaign.

It concentrates on asking both motorists and pedestrians to ensure they are seen during the dark winter nights.

This morning's launch (Mon) took place at the Creg-ny-Baa Hotel, with police present to caution any road users with faulty head lights.

Road Safety Manager, Gordon Edwards, hopes the campaign will encourage people to take greater care whilst driving at night:
