Hotel venue for liberties film

by isleofman.com 19th October 2007
A political pressure group hopes as many people as possible will go to see a film about civil liberties in Britain.

The Positive Action Group will screen Taking Liberties, which charts the erosion of people’s rights during the war on terror.

PAG Chairman Roger Tomlinson says it will be of particular interest in the wake of a recent row over biometric data (audio file attached):

The film will be shown at the Claremont Hotel (pictured) in Douglas, at 7.30pm on Monday.
