World's first for Tynwald

From early next year, a machine will be 'listening' very closely to what members of Tynwald have to say.

It will then produce a verbatim copy, which will be available for reference.

The system been developed over the past two years, with software writers from Australian and the United Kingdom.

Tynwald Media and Education Officer Paul Ormond-Smith says the technology is extremely advanced (audio file attached):
