Danny Boyde skateboard memorial

by isleofman.com 17th October 2007
A dedication ceremony will take place next week in memory of a Ramsey teenager.

Fifteen year-old Danny Boyde lost his life in January, suffering head injuries in a road accident on the Jurby Road in Lezayre.

He was flown to a children's' hospital in Manchester, but later died.

A memorial bench will be installed and a plaque unveiled in his memory at the town's skateboard park on October 27.

Both have been paid for through fundraising events, organised by a group of Danny’s friends.
