Arts workshops end

Workshops arranged by the Isle of Man Arts Council are drawing to a close after a busy few weeks.

English poet Luke Wright, who performed a concert at the Villa Marina, tutored at some of the exhibitions and commented on the 'fantastic' standard of poems produced by the pupils of Ramsey Grammar School (pictured).

The organisers feel the workshops have encouraged pupils to take an active interest in areas of the arts they may not normally have considered.

Arts Council representative Emma Gleave says the initiative has been extremely successful, and there will be more in the future:
