Woman named in Mountain RTA

Police have named the woman who died in a fatal road traffic collision on Sunday (14th Oct).

She was 20 year old Stacey Andrews of Ramsey.

Miss Andrews was a pillion passenger on a motorbike which was involved in an incident on the Mountain Road. The rider of the bike suffered ankle injuries.

Inspector Derek Flint, Head of the Roads Policing Unit, says enquiries into the collision have progressed well and he is thanking the public for their assistance.

Anyone with further information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, is asked to contact the Roads Policing unit at Police Headquarters on 631212
