No Euro Health Insurance for Island residents

by isleofman.com 16th October 2007
Chief Minister Tony Brown has confirmed that Isle of Man residents will not be able to obtain European Health Insurance cards when they visit European countries.

He told members of Tynwald people should make their own arrangements to have adequate personal insurance.

When pressed during a Tynwald question about negotiations with the United Kingdom he made it clear that EHI cards can only be issued to residents in member states.
